What was your pathway into becoming a Water Service Person?
I was recommended the industry by a friend. I came into the industry unskilled, getting training through City Care while working to do a Level 3 Water Reticulation Certificate through Connexis.In this training you learn about planned and reactive maintenance on water infrastructure
What are the career prospects?
You can become a supervisor after completion of a Level 4 certificate, and also go into management becoming an Operations Manager or a Service Manager.
